Toy Safety

Birds are curious creatures. They love to inspect, taste, and chew anything that crosses their path.  Toy parts are no different.  However, what’s safe for one bird, may not be safe for another.  We can only guide you.  Some parts that start out being safe, may become unsafe over time.
Please Protect Your Bird By:
  • Inspecting all toys regularly.
  • Remove any rusted parts.
  • Remove or cut back any frayed ends, keeping cotton strands very short.
  • Keep quick links closed.
  • Remove any toys or parts that have sharp edges.
  • To avoid any injuries make sure that your birds entire body can fit through any loops or rings, regardless of what they are made of.
  • The ultimate responsibility lies with you, the bird’s guardian/owner to keep your bird safe! 
  • Know your bird!

  • Lead-Frame Doors/Windows
  • Mirror Backing

  • Unglazed Ceramics
